A downloadable game

Spend a single day as one of the most fearless animals on Earth.

The Tiny Disaster Machine is a fast, light, card-driven solo RPG where you play a honey badger roaming the savannah from sunrise to sunset. Across eight short scenes, you’ll forage, explore, cause trouble, face rivals, and leave a trail of small, stubborn chaos behind you.

Draw a card for each moment of the day:

  • The suit tells you what kind of scene it is — foraging, exploring, trouble, or confrontation.

  • The rank tells you how boldly you act — cautious, confident, fearless, or legendary.

Then you write a short scene capturing what happens next.

There are:

  • no stats

  • no dice

  • no prep

  • no survival grind

Just a deck of cards, your imagination, and a creature that absolutely refuses to back down.

This is not a grim nature documentary.
This is a playful, energetic story game about curiosity, hunger, stubborn courage, and the joy of poking your nose into places you probably shouldn’t.

What you’ll do

  • Dig, sniff, climb, steal, and raid hives

  • Wander through farms, camps, burrows, and scrubland

  • Confront predators, rivals, and irritated humans

  • Turn small moments into big, memorable scenes

  • Tell the story of one messy, fearless day

Each playthrough takes about 20–30 minutes and tells a complete story — funny, chaotic, and full of character.

Eight scenes.
One honey badger.
A whole world to explore.

This is fantastic. Honey badgers are so cool! I remember seeing a documentary where young jackals got on a badger's nerve, and the narration was: "The young ones don't know yet that jackals do not hunt badgers." I am lokking forward to being one!

That documentary line is perfect 😂
Honey badgers have zero interest in playing by the rules, which is very much the point of the game.
I’m really happy it clicked for you — enjoy causing problems on four legs.

I’d love to hear what you think (good, bad, or weird). Feedback is always welcome.
