100 Words A solo RPG told one card — and one moment — at a time.
A downloadable game
100 Words is a solo journaling game about small moments and big decisions, told one card at a time.
You don’t need stats or dice. Just a deck of cards, a notebook, and a bit of time to yourself.
Draw a card. The suit gives you a theme — like emotion, mystery, change, or conflict. The number tells you how big or intense the moment is. Then write a short journal entry based on that idea — no more than 100 words.
Each entry is a scene. Together, they become a story.
Play until the story feels finished — or until the deck runs out.
This game is built using the Solo Story Deck System (SSDS) — a simple card-based engine for writing small, personal stories.
I’d really appreciate your feedback.
If you play 100 Words, please consider leaving a comment or sharing your thoughts. I'd love to know how your story turned out.
